This vintage railroad track spike was removed in 2019 from the display track which held the 576 while on static display in Nashville’s Centennial Park for over 65 years! The display track was installed in 1953 by employees of the NC&StL railroad.
Each spike was bead-blasted to remove rust, and then coated with a sealant and hand-stamped with the numbers 576, they then painted in yellow. Each spike comes with a presentation card attached with a string that can be easily removed if desired. Please note that each spike is different, depending on age and condition.
A truly unique collectible, lovingly made by our volunteers.
