As our team prepares for the next milestone, the first LIVE-STEAM test, an unexpected twist surfaced: we've determined that several of the locomotive’s superheater units require total replacement, demanding a custom mill run of new material costing roughly $45,000.![]()

To keep the project on schedule and power through this challenge, we’re launching an end-of-year MATCHING CAMPAIGN, where all donations are doubled up to $25,000. This effort directly supports the fabrication and installation of the new superheater elements. ![]()
