Nashville Steam Launches Fundraiser Train in September

By July 5, 2023July 13th, 2023Event, Fundraising

Join Nashville Steam and the Tennessee Central Railway Museum on September 16th for an exclusive first-class fundraiser train to commemorate the ongoing restoration success of the Centennial Park steam locomotive no. 576.

Following a pre-trip reception and tour of the restoration at 220 Willow Street, the excursion train will traverse the future route of Nashville’s next biggest attraction. Featuring coach, dome, and first-class seats, special musical guests, and giveaways, all proceeds from the roundtrip excursion will help the iconic landmark on its road to revival. Ticket sales begin on Wednesday, July 12th at nashvillesteam.org at 6:00 PM.

“This will be the first opportunity for supporters to envision the 576 as a hallmark of regional tourism, and give benefactors a glimpse of the exciting future for Nashville’s steam locomotive,” explained Joey Bryan, Communications Director for Nashville Steam.

The event has been made possible through the assistance of Tennesee Central Railway Museum, Visit Music City, and Buntin Group.
